LOVING IT: Patterson Kinkaid

I'm doing my usual Sunday night routine: prepping for the week, chiding myself for not going to bed sooner, and for putting off all the little things I told myself I'd do.  What better way to spend guilt time than shopping online?

HauteLook is one of those great sites that offers amazing labels at deeply discounted prices and tonight I'm feeling the Patterson Kinkaid designs.

Feel free to sign up through the link posted on the left hand-side and check out these sales below.

This dress is retailing for $28 on HauteLook, and for $97 on Revolve Clothing.

Here's another great plaid shirt dress, on sale for only $26 on HauteLook

This one is called the "Maggie Floral Dress" and is sold out on Bloomingdale's site.

The sketchy model aside, there is a great blue, floral version of this dress on sale on HauteLook right now for only $26; the version below is on sale at Revolve Clothing for $67.

Loving It: A Different Kind of Cardigan

Here are some additions to our cardigan picks.  A few more neutrals, colors and prints that won us over.  Enjoy.

Favorite Finds: No Rhyme or Reason Tops

Refusing to compromise on coverage often means falling into a fashion rut... sweater dresses, plain long tanks, go-with-anything cardigans.  We all know these items are wardrobe vitals, but I often find myself trolling for twists on the ordinary... just something different.  And I found these tops to be just that.  Hope you concur!

It's not over yet

In case you all are wondering, this skirt is still available (despite the information underneath the photo saying it's sold out).

FAVORITE FIND: Wide leg white pants

Oh me, I am a hippie at heart (my blog partner will confirm that in a heartbeat) and as a free-wheeling bohemian, I love a good pair of wide leg pants.  But many of you love wide legs too - they are the ultimate in casual comfort and Islamic-ease.

Pick up this pair, on sale right now at Piperlime for $47 + 20% + 2% on your total purchase if you shop through Ebates.  The great thing about wide leg pants is that they can go with short, cropped pieces or longer tunics and never go out of style.

FAVORITE FIND: The long and short of it

If you haven't heard, H&M will be coming out with a 20% off one item coupon soon (feel free to sign up here to receive it when it's released.)  H&M is one of the most length-friendly stores out there and that being so, if there's a 20% off deal, you're sure to find some hits.

The sometimes problem with long tops is that you tend to lose a waist, which is nice to have to give you a proportionate look.  I like the idea of layering this polka dot blue top over the long blouse (pictured directly underneath) to give you a waist and color.

Can't ever go wrong with a basic button down shirt.  In fact, it may need to be a new basic.

Long blazers are so rare - they're like finding a four leaf clover.  Here's a knit one in a soft pink.  Picture it over any of the following tops.

Try this in the bright pink for a pop of color.

FAVORITE FIND: Gold skirts

We've been emphasizing color and patterns here at Greater Lengths, all the more to help you break the doldrums of winter.

This soft pink blouse was the inspiration for this outfit, which is currently on sale for $13.99 at ModCloth, but for a pop of pizzaz, add a gold-toned skirt.  This outfit idea can easily be transitioned from work to formal with a slight change of skirt (here's another, slightly more demure skirt if you're looking for work only).  The skirts retail for between $25 - $50 at Urban Outfitters, while the chiffon-trimmed blazer is at your neighborhood Coldwater Creek for $25.  Go quick because these items are on sale and may not last long!

There are a couple of things I'm in love with right now

...and these are them.  In addition to being long-hemmed gems, they are all on sale from my favorite vintagey, quirky, one-of-a-kind-y store, ModCloth.  While we understand that the thrill of a sale often comes from finding something awesome in-store, sometimes finding something online for 70% off the normal asking price is just as exhilarating.  Unsure?  Take a look at one of these items and maybe try them on for size in person.  Let us know what you think!

It's a little obvious that blue is my favorite color (you've probably seen enough posts featuring shades of it).  Anyway, here's another find I am loving at the moment, on sale for only $23.99 at ModCloth.

A long, gray sweater-vest with sleeve ties? With a striped shirt (for casual) or button down (for work), you've got two outfits in one layer! The greatness of gray is that it goes with anything. $14.99 at ModCloth!

Another one of those awesome dresses to double as a top, this flowy number will transition well from winter to spring with a scarf around your neck (or hair) or another striped blue or orange shirt.

A little bit of granola in your day is good for you! This sweater looks a little hippie, a little out there, but picture it with your favorite boots and some leggings (for an easy day out with your friends) or some slim-fit trousers and an oxford classic (for a big work meeting). $13.99 at ModCloth!

It's nice to think of how awesome you might look when that potential significant other sees you for the first time. This sweater is one of those pieces - again, layered over a casual long-sleeved t-shirt (perhaps a rich teal) - that could make you POP out of a crowd. It's $25.99 at ModCloth, with the potential to be priceless.

A Classically Colored Ensemble

Ever feel an out-of-the-ordinary blazer calling your name?  That's sort of what brought me here.  Classic colors in uncharacteristic prints keep this spread grounded and unique at the same time.  No need to over-complicate - pair a busy top with a calm blazer or vice versa.  I also like the idea of the striped long-sleeved tee under the blue dress for some personality behind the frill.  Each piece is superbly priced between $10 - $45.

Feeling Floral, Fiending White

I'll let the title do the talking.
