Last Place Finds

My senior year of high school, I seemed to go on an endless search of the perfect graduation dress.  It had to be chic yet inexpensive, stylish enough to garner some praise, and obviously long.  I found it in the last places: Sears.  I loved  that dress and kept it until a year or two ago - which is saying a lot, as I hit my 10 year high school graduation anniversary recently.

We're experiencing the same with these workout tops at Eastern Mountain Sports.  These are on sale right now, so head to your local EMS (if you're in New Jersey, they may be right around the corner!) and score these great deals!

The Wanderer Dress is made from drirelease polyester and wool, pulling moisture away from the skin.  It provides cool-weather comfort without the itch.

A Stroll on the Beach

For those fish who prefer to stay out of the water, fitting in at the beach can be a challenge.  All those nekkit folk looking at you like you've broken the law keeping your clothes on.  Lounging on the coastline under proper cover can be a little tricky, but there is some method to the madness.  Here are some outfits that are perfect for sand, sun and salaamalaikums all around.

Stick to airy pieces in light, cool colors and relaxed styles, like these tunics on a pair of casual harem pants

This bright cropped top from Urban Outfitters is just $20! Pair it with a plain long tank (only $8 at Charlotte Russe) and these Elan International Ziggy pants for an outfit that screams BEACH FUN.

Another bright cropped top look ($15 at Forever 21), paired with a colorful pair of linen pants ($24.50 at Victoria Secret)

Here are some of our favorite beachy tops and bottoms
