FAVORITE FIND: Anthropologie's Broken Block Shift

We all wish that we had the money to sail through life dressed in any of Anthropologie's off-base but completely enviable clothing.  Well, if you are willing to invest a little more in a certain-to-be versatile piece in your wardrobe, this is the dress to get.  It's currently priced at $69, marked down from $228.  Seriously.  Lots of sizes still available.

Anthropologie at ShopStyle

I can see this coming into play for work (over a white button down shirt) and casual outings.  I'd want to wear it all the time.

If you're wondering how else to pair it with a clothing item (other than the standard dress-over-pants look), here's a quick outfit idea.  Take a dark blue sweater, preferably one with short sleeves, and match with a white skirt (you can pick a few here).  Ideally the white skirt will be a little looser and with more movement, contrasting the straight lines of the shift dress.

Loving It: Viva the Long (and affordable!) Skirt

We've scoured the virtual sales racks for the ever-popular long skirt - a must have for all you modesty-minded gals out there.  These Greater Length finds are not only a cut above the usual A-line fare, at around $30 they're also what's called A STEAL!

Basic Blacks

We love the character in uneven hem-lines.  Pair these with long boots!

FAVORITE FINDS: Piperlime's Lime Tag Sale

For those of you unfamiliar with Piperlime, it's the Gap-brand online spin off of upscale boutique.  Imagine if CUSP had a reasonable younger sister, and you have Piperlime.  The great thing about the store is, in addition to earning 2% of all your purchases back through Ebates, they have sales.  You can get some greatly reduced and stylish, designer merchandise at a fraction of the cost.

We've done some of the work for you and found a few of our favorite finds from their Lime Tag sale.  These are the Greater Lengths favorite finds.  All of these are handy to layer over, under, or wear as is, with leggings, jeans, or skinny jeans/boots with existing items in your wardrobe or with the many items posted here.  Many of these items are under $40 (free shipping on everything at Piperlime!).  These two items would not load, but I love their potential (and even own this blazer in khaki).

Another coverage compatible find. I love this dress with a pair of dressy skinnies and a few colorful accessories for really unique formal look.

Parade Those Prints!

Pull the striking prints in this gown together with neutrals like a nude snood (yes that's what they're calling furry scarves these days) and a beige belt, or bring out the heat with darker toned accessories.  Either way, a stand-out look is in the making.
